After a three-decade break, Van der
Graaf Generator are back together!
Peter Hammill, the greatest anti-star of rock, along with his old
mates Hugh Banton - keyboards, David Jackson - saxes and flutes, and
Guy Evans - drums, resume what they left in 1976, releasing the double
CD Present. Their sound, described as pseudo-medieval
modernism, hasnt changed and listening to their latest record
is quite an enjoyable musical journey.
Here, in a hot summer Athens night, in a theatre up in the hills,
were happy to have them back!
Setlist: "Lemmings", "Darkness",
"Still Life", "Sleepwalkers", "Nutter Alert",
"Man Erg". |
