The Hellenic Festival 2005 programme for the Athens Festival offers the public the opportunity to experience performances by outstanding artists. A spectacular series of events of international appeal in the areas of music, dance and theatre celebrate both ancient cultural heritage and new forms of artistic expression.

The Athens Festival presents, in the settings of Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Theatre of Lycabettus, high-quality productions, with the participation of distinguished Greek and foreign artists from all corners of the globe.

The Rockwave Festival, a nine years old rock institution, takes place outside Athens, at Terra Vibe, Malakassa, 37th km National Road Athens-Lamia. Some of the artists who will participate this summer are: Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Velvet Revolver, Black Sabbath, Moby, Sonic Youth, Slayer, Accept, Twisted Sister, Dio, Anthrax.

GFestival-Athens Live Experience'05 offers to the public some of the greatest artists in rock music. The concerts will take place at Gagarin settings, 203-205 Liosion Street, 104 45, Athens, but also at the Beach Volley Open Olympic Theatre, Faliros. Some of the biggest events are: Apocalyptica, Megadeth, Kraktwerk, Dream Theater.
