You will always need to prove your identity when exchanging money.

Electronic Currency Exchange: Next to an ATM you may also find a currency exchange machine, which will accept notes of all major currencies and deliver you euros in exchange. Just follow the instructions (in English and other languages) carefully.

Credit Cards: Many hotels, restaurants, ticket offices and shops accept credit cards but it
is always advisable to ask about credit card acceptance before you sign the register or order your food, to avoid difficulties later.
