The progressive metal rock band Dream Theater was founded
in mid-‘80s, by three Berkeley College of Music students
and very soon they became commercially successful. The current
members are James LaBrie - vocals, John Petrucci - guitars
and vocals, Mike Portnoy - drums, percussion and vocals, John
Myung - bass guitar and Jordan Rudess - keyboards.
Dream Theater are considered to be the progressive metal pioneers.
They received general appreciation for their technical proficiency
and their musical complexity, as their music includes many
musical genres.
Dream Theater high energy live performance in Athens, on 1st
July 2005, was received by an enthusiastic audience of all
ages. James LaBrie said: “Every time we come to Athens,
we have a wonderful experience, thank you all”.
