The City Hall of Athens has organized its first
spring and flower celebration under the title "Athens in Bloom
-Throughout the City and in Midspring". Between 5-22 May, the
flowers, the colors and scents of spring will fill Athens in a few
central spots.

The festive events were opened at Kotzia Square
with a floral exhibition and will be followed by "Wonders of
Nature", May 10-22, at Syntagma Square and "Heart of the
City" and "Round the Garden", May 9-22, at National
Gardens.
